Q. Can I change plans anytime?

A. Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade anytime from your Shopify admin. Charges are prorated.

Q. Is there a time limit on the free plan?

A. No, the free plan has no expiration. Table ordering for up to 3 tables is free forever.

Q. How is payment processed?

A. Excuseme does not process payments. Orders are created as Shopify Draft Orders and checked out via Shopify POS or Shopify Checkout.

Q. Can I use my existing Shopify products?

A. Yes, Shopify Collections serve as menu categories. Simply add products to a collection and they appear in the table order menu.

Q. Are product variants supported?

A. Yes, Shopify product variants are displayed as-is. Size, flavor, preparation style — any variant options appear in the ordering interface.

Q. What happens to my data if I uninstall?

A. In compliance with GDPR, all shop data is automatically deleted when the app is uninstalled.

Q. Can I use all-you-can-eat/drink timers?

A. Yes, the Pro plan includes per-table timers. When active, the menu automatically switches to the drink/food plan menu, and a countdown is shown on the customer's screen.

Q. What is smart seat matching?

A. When a seat becomes available, the system automatically suggests the best matching customer from the waitlist based on seat type (counter, table, private room) and party size. Split seating for groups is also supported.

Q. Does it sync with Shopify sales reports?

A. Yes, orders are automatically created in Shopify when payment is completed. Filter by the tag "excuseme-table-order" to view dine-in sales separately from online sales.

Q. Can I embed waitlist widgets on my online store?

A. Yes, you can add "Waitlist Registration" and "Waitlist Status" widgets to your Shopify theme. OS 2.0 themes can use the App section; older themes can use iframe embed codes.
